Kitálal a Fideszes volt polgármester. Rákóczifalván szobrot szerettek volna, de nem volt rá 2,5 millió forintjuk. Ezért támogatást kértek az állam különböző szerveitől, de mindenhol elutasították őket. De egyszercsak bejelentkezett egy szobrász, hogy megcsinál egy szobrot 40 millióért, majd alkudozás után 10-ért, és hozza a teljes összeget támogatásként a minisztériumtól. Arra hivatkozott, hogy a felesége államtitkár és elintézi. Így lenne happy end a történet vége. Ha nem került volna a településnek kb. 5 millió forintjába a talapzat és az egyéb járulékos költségek. Ezt saját forrásból kellett kifizetniük, abból a forrásból, amiből 2,5 milliót sem tudtak/akartak szoborra fordítani. Egy olyan szoborra, ami máshol nincs. Mint kiderült, olyan szobrot kaptak végül, ami már máshol is van. Nem ez az apró történet a leglényegesebb, hanem a rendszer működése. Ezért oszd meg! - ENGLISH - Rákóczifalva wanted to set out a statue but did not have the necessary 2.5 million HUF. Therefore they turned to different ministries and public bodies, only to receive rejection from everywhere. However, suddenly an artist reached out to them: he offered to make the statue for 40 million. After some negotiation, this amount decreased to 10 million, along with the promise that the full amount would be paid by the ministry. This claim was based on the artist’s wife being a Secretary of State. Sounds like a story with a happy ending. However, the pedestal for the statue and additional costs meant another 5 million HUF for them, at own cost. Out of their budget, which was not suitable to pay 2.5 million for the monument in the first place. For a statue that is one of a kind. Because as it turned out, the received statue is not exactly unique, there were existing identical pieces. What is essential is not the story itself but rather the nature of the system. That is why you should share it!
